Solea Mexican Grill - Another Great Choice for Mexican
Solea Mexican Grill, at 709 N. Appleton Street in Menasha, used to be Los Compadres. Solea now has a new owner but still has a lot of the outstanding flavor of its predecessor, with some new twists. My family and some friends went there for lunch recently and we quite pleased with the great food. They still have the awesome bean dip that Los Compadres had (and still has in its new locations). The meals are not too expensive and full of rich flavor, including great guacamole. I also was pleased that they serve good horchata, my favorite rice drink.

I just went here yesterday for the 1st time. It's very cute inside, all hand-painted in reds and oranges. I also loved the bean dip! Very flavorful. I got a beef Taco Salad which I liked except it seemed very salty - like the meat was salted heavily and the side of beans and the side of Spanish rice which altogether was too much. Next time, I'll try something else on the menu.
